So terribly sorry to hear of Zona's passing. My thoughts are with all the family but particularly my old neighbors Del and Bud at this sad and trying time. May she rest in peace.

May the God of comfort strengthen the family during this time of sorrow. As time passes may the comfort of fond memories become greater than that of sorrow. Psalm 34:18 Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 103: For he well knows how we are formed, remembering we are dust.

Over a span of about 6 years, Zona was at my house daily, through Mercy Home Health and then Mercy Hospice, to care for my mom who was bed ridden with Alzheimer's. She was a rock during that time, going over and beyond the call o duty. Her arrival each day was like a breath of fresh air, bringing her smile, laughter, entertaining conversations, and COMPASSION! She could lift my mom and single handedly get her onto the tub seat, where others (including me) shied away from that. All because of Zona, my mom had real daily showers...not just sponge baths. I am forever grateful to this beautiful soul. One of her favorite topics to talk about was her family (as well as her pets!)1 She was so proud, and loved her family to pieces. You are all in my prayers during this heartbreaking time. Pam Wadsworth
