Mrs. Whitmire was my 6th grade teacher in 1995. She was one of my favorites and one of have fondly remembered through the years. So sad to hear of her passing. My prayers are with the family!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Gail from this world to her Heavenly Home. She will be missed by her family and many friends. Gail, Donna, and Bryan lived across the street from me when I moved to Van Buren in 1966 and has been a loving and faithful friend ever since. I pray for God's comforting hand to be on Donna, Bryan and all her family and friends. I will miss seeing her when I visit Van Buren and First Baptist Church. “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” Proverbs 31:10

Gail was a walking testimony for Christ and an inspiration to all those who knew her (family, friends, teaching colleagues, and her students). No doubt when she entered heaven, she heard the words,"Well done thy good and faithful servant." What a loss for us here, but what a day of rejoicing for Gail. We are lifting your family up during this healing time of loss.
