Billy Ray Newton, 62, of Mulberry, AR passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his home. He was a retired machine operator at Gerber for 31 years and enjoyed restoring antique cars. Billy was born June 29, 1958 in Bakersfield, CA to the late William Sr. and Eula Fay (Trull) Newton, He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Shores and two brothers, William Newton, Jr. and Richard Hagher.
Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia Newton of the home; daughters, Autumn Collingsworth (Jonathan) and Amy Rankins all of Van Buren and Lisa Newton of Fort Smith; sons, Charles Rose of Wister, OK, Nathan Rose (Ashley) and Christopher Newton (Bill) all of Fort Smith and Henry Newton of Mulberry; sister, Betty Pinkerton; brothers, David Wood and Toughum Tedford and 11 grandchildren.
